Call for Artists
Sunnyside Beach Juried Art Show & Sale

Held at the Sunnyside Pavilion, 1755 Lake Shore Blvd., Toronto.
Artists are invited to participate in the Sunnyside Beach Juried Art Show & Sale,
an annual show held at the Sunnyside Pavilion in Toronto.
The three-day art event is a wonderful opportunity to show your work
both to persons with a strong interest in the arts in Toronto and to collectors who
are willing to purchase works in a variety of styles. The art festival provides a showcase
for up-and-coming and established artists, and features painting, drawing,
photography, and sculpture, alongside live music and art performances.
Benefits to Artists: The event is no cost and open to the public.
No commission charged on sales. The first place juried art show winner receives
$1,000 in prize money, as chosen by a qualified committee of gallery owners
and recognized art critics. We are also introducing a People's Choice Award,
a $500 cash prize. In addition, all artists are included in the official show catalogue.
How to apply: Send us examples of your work (a web link or no more than seven photos),
a bio (max 70 words) and a C.V./resume. Please be aware that if you are accepted,
one of the images you submit will be shown in the catalogue. Please specify which
image you would like in the catalogue and provide a description: title, year produced,
dimensions, and technique. We welcome proposals from all artists juried art show
applicants, as well as performing artists, and those with art installation ideas.

There is a $ 25 non-refundable jury fee.
Exhibit pricing: 10' X 10' standard outdoor space. Artists: $195
Full time students: $95 - Spring and Summer 2010 graduates still considered students
Semi-enclosed space (under the arches) $250
Gallery: Undressed - Art of the Figure
We are also welcoming proposals from artists interested in participating in
our special gallery: Undressed - Art of the Figure. Send us examples of your work
(a web link or no more than seven photos), a bio (max 70 words) and a C.V./resume.
Exhibit Pricing: 5" x 8" wall space in the west-end gallery: $ 75.
