ART ON THE FLY
Art on the Fly, organized by the Arts Hamilton Board of Directors, was a terrific success on Friday, December 10th, 2010 during the James Street North Art Crawl.
The art show and fundraiser featured local artists Becky Katz and Grace Loney in the boxing ring to create two unique works of art that were raffled off at the end of the night. Many other artists were also featured through-out the gallery to support Arts Hamilton. DJ Realistic was on-hand to spin and mix tunes to the delight of the hundreds of attendees who attended the event.
The evening was coordinated by Board members Jeff Feswick (President, Historia Restorations), Kevin Land, Annette Paiement, Ilya Pinassi (VP of Operations – Upper James Toyota) and Tim Potocic. Arts Hamilton gratefully acknowledges the sponsorship and assistance provided not only by the Board members but also by Better Bitters Brewing Company.
Arts Hamilton is pleased to see that this fundraiser was such a success and we look forward to holding similar events in the New Year!
